Since its inception in 1993, the Sub-Zero and Wolf Kitchen Design Contest has become a coveted win in the industry recognizing kitchen designers, architects, interior designers, builders and remodelers for advancing outstanding kitchen design by celebrating their inspiring, innovative projects.

The Kitchen Design Contest will continue to accept entries through January 31, 2017. In Spring 2017, judges will evaluate the entries and name the top 25. The panel of judges, comprised of seven talented industry leaders, includes four returning judges: E.J. Meade of Arch 11, Inc., Vasi Ypsilantis of The Breakfast Room, Ltd., Friedemann Weinhardt of Design First Interiors, and Cristina Menezes of Arquitetura e Decoração LTDA. They will be joined by newcomers Davy Swanenberg of Culimaat High End Kitchens, Sandra Agurto of Cabinetry Creations, Inc., and Stacy Eisenmann of Eisenmann Architecture, to complete the panel. All seven judges are previous Kitchen Design Contest winners.
Each finalist will receive a trip for two to the Winners’ Summit in September 2017 at Hotel del Coronado in Southern California, where they will be treated to relaxation, celebration, and networking opportunities. Ten global winners will be announced at a special evening gala during the trip.
Global prizes including cash and media exposure will be awarded in various categories. First and second place winners will be named in each of the contemporary, transitional, and traditional design categories, as well as best First-Time Entry and Student Winner; those who have not previously entered this contest are encouraged to do so.
Small Spaces Kitchen (less than 150 square feet) and Outdoor Kitchen award categories are new this contest. They have been added in direct response to their increasing popularity in the market and will allow design pros the opportunity to showcase their space planning skills and creative ideas for outdoor living.
